INITIAL ENGLISH

Initial English level develops early stages of EFL learning by facing students to real language used in TV series, music, and roleplays. Students receive realistic input, interact, and develop communicative skills in the foreign language.

Student’s competences for the level:

  • Comprehends a scene from a TV series through a performance by using metalinguistic elements.
  • Uses lyrics of a song as well as music-related vocabulary for the creation and performance of real situations.
    Builds up vocabulary and basic structures for the interaction in everyday situations.
  • Answers different types of questions fully related to the contents worked throughout the level and the dynamics proposed in the upcoming semesters.
  • Develops basic content and structures about personal and daily-life events as stated by the minimum standards of CEF.
